He is a proud, demanding and deeply patriarchal king whose greatest frustration was his failure to father a son through his two royal queens. King Salbecido is the father of Shombra, Espegia, and Krulek and the ruler of Oscurac before Krulek’s rise. He is a proud, demanding and deeply patriarchal king whose greatest frustration was his failure to father a son through his two royal queens.


Salbecido’s first queen, Luinara, gave birth to Shombra, while his second queen, Spesha, gave birth to Espegia. Both women came from royal families, but Salbecido regarded the births of daughters as disappointments.  Demovol — God of Evil Demovol is the God of Evil and the supreme divine force worshipped by those who embrace darkness and seek mastery of dark magic. He is the brother of Decerte, the God of Death, and unlike the other Gods, he was excluded from Zidior's original spell that made the Gods immortal. Cunning and manipulative from childhood, Demovol later turned his disadvantage into a unique power. Through a boon granted by Decerte, he can die but resurrect whenever his soul chooses to return. He cannot grant true immortality to mortals because he does not possess the life-creating magic of the Gods. Zidior is the Creator of the World and one of the most powerful figures in the pantheon of Zorvanya Saga. He created the world and established the fundamental forces that govern existence. He is regarded as a wise and immensely powerful God whose authority extends across creation itself. Zidior is the husband of Mindura, Goddess of Wisdom, and the father of Nidata, Goddess of Maternity. He is also responsible for the divine spell that granted immortality to the Gods. During that event, however, Demovol was deliberately kept away by Decerte, leaving Demovol as the only God excluded from the spell. Zidior's relationship with Demovol is therefore complicated. Although Demovol is the God of Evil, he is still a member of the divine family, and Zidior's decisions concerning the Gods can have enormous consequences.
